Message from Aerie President
Dear Brothers & Sisters,
I guess this will be my last note as president. I would like to thank all Aerie and Auxiliary members that helped me this year. Thanks to all that came to the Anniversary celebration, I think all had a great time. All the speakers did a great job. Thanks to Becky and “Bob” David Wooster for their information.
Congratulations to Mike Vetrano Eagle of the Year and Bob and Melissa Lawrence Couple of the Year all very deserving.
Remember the next state conference, May 18th in Winchester. The State Presidents Charity golf was at Gypsy Hill April 27th. Thanks to all the volunteers that came out to help with that. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped to get ready for the anniversary they did a fabulous job.
Thanks to all who continue to play the games so the Aerie can donate to so many charities.

Brothers and Sisters,
I can’t believe how fast my year has gone by. We had a busy April, celebrating our 120th Anniversary and hosting the State Golf Tournament. Thank each of you for making these events successful. Thanks to all our speakers, Mike Vetrano, myself, David Wooster; Grand Aerie VP, Billy Shoope; VA State Worthy President and Tammy Frye; VA State Madam President for attending and speaking. Congratulations to Mike Vetrano getting Eagle of the Year and Bob & Melissa Lawrence for Couple of the Year.
Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped with the golf tournament. I appreciate everyone for helping out from organizing, to working these events. (Way to many to name!) Thank you for volunteering your time!! Many thanks to all of you for your support this year and to Brady Kirby for finishing out my year with me.
Also a big Thank you to all my Auxiliary officers! I look forward to supporting our new officers and I know with the group we have they will have an awesome year too!

Hello my Sisters and Brothers:
The 120th celebration of the Elliott’s Knob Aerie #680 was fantastic. Such a huge crowd and wonderful food. Congratulations to Mike Vetrano, Eagle of the year and Bob and Missy Lawrence as couple of the year.
We initiated several members this month. Please welcome new members Kayleigh Roper, Charity Russel and Alice Walker. Also welcome dual member Sharon Reeves.
Don’t forget to pay your dues if your membership card has an expiration date of 5/31/2024!!
PLEASE: I need to know when you have changed anything… name, address or phone number. Call me, email me or leave info at the bar please. If you do not notify me, then I may not be able to contact you with important information. And that information needs to be complete and correct because the dues are coming due soon.
Also many of you joined prior to having emails. I need that information. The best way to get that to me is to send me an email at reesepolly@comcast.net, That way I can be sure I have your email correct. Also please keep us informed of any illness or family sickness or death by contacting any of the officers or leaving a note at the bar, or by contacting me at the number below. We cannot offer help, visit or do anything to help you if we do not know.
Remember our military and our sick and shut-ins in your prayers. Let’s continue to be “People Helping People”!

Officers & Committees Nominations
It’s almost that time of year again!
We will be taking nominations for the upcoming Fraternal Year (June 2024-May 2025) for officers.
If you are interesting in become an officer, for both the men and women, see a current officer for more information.
We also need people to serve on various committees. This is the best way to start being more involved. There are a number of committees!
So if you think you might be interested in serving on a committee, also see any officer and they can get your more information!
Membership Drawings 8:00pm
Every Thursday, Friday & Saturday night, be sure to get your ticket for a chance at winning $100. Must have ticket in hand by 8:00pm! The bartenders do a good job at trying to remember to get it for you but sometimes they get busy. It is YOUR responsibility to make sure to ask for it! 8:01 is too late!
